DIY Piñata script ALOHA!!!

This is a huge project for a Tropical party decoration 

(wedding, birthday, bridal shower, baby shower or any occasion! )

Big hit and super cute piñata!

All we need is cardboard, scissors, snap-blade knife, glue stick, pencil or marker, tissue paper white and yellow, card stock green and black and packing transparent tape. Follow the pictures below step by step and enjoy! 

You need to write the word on the cardboard, be inspired for any font you like. I used the same font from our Tropical printable party kit (also available at our Etsy Shop!) because I would like to match it, but you can play with your imagination too!

You need 2 of this cardboard word, once you completed, you can cut out with the snap-blade knife. Second step, you need to cut some cardboard stripes between 4'' or 5'' to attache the two sides together. With the packing transparent tape start to attached all together, since I used this piñata just for decoration not for smashing, I didn't let any open area but if your intention is to smash this piñata think about it!

Because I used a recycled cardboard box, the color is darkest, so I covered first with white tissue paper, then I glue the fringe.

I always use tissue paper but you can also use crêpe paper. You will need a lot of tissue paper's fringes between 2" or 3" inch tall, depending the size of your piñata. Starting from the bottom to the top, start to glue all the white fringes.

Once you covered the whole piñata then cut some more tissue fringe in yellow to decorate the pineapple part. Cut some card stock green leaves and trace the inner letter "l" and "H", I used the black cardboard to give the hole effect, and voila!
