DIY Easter Bunny Madeleines
Recipe by French Chef Sylvie Roux
from her book "Easy French Baking Recipes"
Ingredients for 20 madeleines (in bunny shapes almost 40)
→ 2 eggs
→ 100 g. (3.5 oz.) sugar
→ 2 Tbsp. milk
→ 1 Tsp. vanilla extract
→ 112 g. (1 stick) Salted butter
→ 125 g. (4.4 oz.) Flour
→ 1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1-Beat the eggs and the sugar until the mixture turns pale yellow (1-2 min.).
Add the milk and vanilla.
2-Melt the butter and let it cool down for 3 min.
3-Add the butter to the batter.
4-Mix the flour with the baking powder & add to the batter
5-Pour the batter in a Madeleine tray (fill up halfway). I used a silicone bunny tray instead.
6-Place tray into the fridge for 15 min.
7-Bake for 10-12 min. or until it is golden at 380F.
(in silicone bunny tray I suggest 10 min.)
Very easy recipe you can easily follow the step by step , great result and delicious madeleines! Organic, home made & healthy!
