DIY Fall Project ++ New life for this Tapestry
DIY Fall project!
Yeahhh finally one of the best season of the year...
Love this colors and spend more time at home...
Let's do it! Let's try this easy DIY Fall project,
give another life to your old tapestry or just recreate a new one,
to hang and decorate your wall, easy and beautiful!
This is an old handmade tapestry came from Jujuy, a small city in Northwest Argentina (South America) , my mom brought me this from a trip,
and now that she is not anymore in this world,
this a very precious piece for me...
I would like to hang it in one of my living-room's wall but needed an updated.
Some yarn, wool, creativity and let's see...
I loved the result, great change and just perfect for my fall decoration
I went to Jo-Ann store, bring the tapestry with me and choose this colors to mix and match
I went into the fall ocres colors, they are just great together!
I just added a piece of wooden rod for helping me hang the new yarn/wool there
Prepare some pieces of yarn/wool preferably long, and start making a slipknot
Tighten knot and repeat as much as you like...
Add colors, then you can cut doing different shapes, square, triangle, straight, etc.
Add some yarn tassels, pompoms, as part of decoration and almost done!
Voila...just loved the final result...
Great for my Fall Project and as a main fall wall decoration at home <3
Very easy project and quick! You have to tried this ;-)
